The Kansas Small Business Development Center at Washburn University is located in Topeka, Kansas. Two outreach centers provide additional access for this area. One is located in Manhattan, Kansas and the other location is in Wetmore.

Some examples include business planning, business transition planning, exit planning, marketing, SBIR grant applications, financial analysis, export planning, loan preparation, QuickBooks advising and training, as well as market research. Any small business owner, manager, or employee can register for seminars and workshops that are offered through the center. If you are ready to build a business plan, get started with our no-cost online business plan tool. Seminars and workshops are offered through the Kansas SBDC at Washburn University and any small business owner, manager, or employee is encouraged to register. This center provides several workshops throughout the year and covers topics including small business finance, how to start a business, and business planning. Other helpful tools from the Washburn University Small Business Development Center are also available for use.
